Radisson Blu Hotel was the venue of choice to celebrate the 25th Silver Anniversary of the Blue Pearl District of the British subsidiary PRU LIFE U.K. The memorable affair served to honor the accomplished gentlemen and ladies who were essentially instrumental in its creation to become the biggest District in the Philippines.
Henry Gocuan, the main honoree of the evening, was commended for his admirable leadership that fostered a phenomenal growth where he successfully groomed the most number of professional financial advisors. They eventually qualified in the internationally known Million Dollar Round Table organization that comprise the top 10 percent worldwide.
Special awards and citations were presented upon individuals who loyally served for 20 years and above. Top awardees were Henry Gocuan, 25 years of service; Edwin Gocuan, Katherine Yap and Rosinni Llamado, 24 years; Cristina Magallano, 23 years; Luther Magallano, Antonette Mahinay and Emmanuel Atillo, 22 years; Gwendolyn Pardo, Bernadette Tad-Y and Teresa Laguardia, 21 years; and Rhea Tanchan, Marie Jocelyn Cang and Jeffrey Tan, 20 years.
Recognitions were likewise bestowed on Ishia Marie Jerez, Mira Luna Silva Noel and James McJel who were chosen as best dressed individuals for the gathering.
The momentous silver jubilee was attended by dignitaries from head office that included Eng Teng Wong; president and CEO, Divine Furagganan, executive vice president and chief distribution officer; and Gilbert Simpao, general manager and chief commercial officer. They were joined by Jaime Barba, co-founder of Blue Pearl and other agency leaders of the same district.
The well-attended gala drew to a close with champagne toasts to all who planned and executed this grand milestone, one to be remembered for a long time.
