Depp’s earnings from the sale of his art works were approximated at around £3 million, which was made through the 37 galleries of Castle Fine Art.
The collection, named Friends and Heroes, comprises 780 prints and illustrate artists and icons whom Johnny Depp has long held in high esteem.
On Instagram, the actor personally announced the sale by uploading a photo of him posing beneath the four prints available for purchase.

Even more, Depp gave great significance to the release of his artwork. He further revealed that the “paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should ever limit themselves.”
Depp’s inspiration for the artworks was divulged by the gallery in detail.
The collection consists of famous faces as its subjects, each image is “an intimate reflection of their character in Johnny’s eyes; a portrayal of how they have revealed themselves to him.”
The account explains more: “From his dear friend Keith Richards, who inspired the mannerisms of the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow, to Bob Dylan, whose creative influence on the artist is seen in his vivid and immortal portrayal by Johnny.”
