Hotel Sogo management and employees gathered to celebrate its 29th founding Anniversary in the evening of 16 June in Eurotel, North Edsa.
For the first time, after two years, this year’s “Masipag” Employee and Loyalty awardees went up to the stage to receive their recognition, and CEO Reynaldo Malaca personally delivered his inspirational message to employees.
Surviving Covid
In his speech, Malaca congratulated the Sogo workforce for weathering the Covid-19 as individuals and as a company.
“Aside from congratulating ourselves, let us be proud that despite the setbacks from the pandemic, while many companies closed operations, we were successful in adding five branches and we even reopened Hotel Sogo Malate,” he went on to say with a sense of pride and gratefulness.
