Seven decades ago, Gliceria “Glecy” Rustia-Tantoco had a vision to bring the most luxurious and exciting brands to the Philippines. That legacy has lasted to this day.
Rustan’s was established in 1952 by Glecy with the support of her husband Bienvenido “Benny” Tantoco Sr. The luxury retail company was born from true passion and appreciation of the best quality items and brands from across the globe.
“Our promise is to constantly pursue how we can continue to make the everyday special, and the seemingly ordinary, extraordinary,” Zenaida R. Tantoco, Rustan’s chairperson and chief executive officer, said.
Rustan’s 70th anniversary celebrations, in-store and online, include groundbreaking moments as the first to license Christian Dior in the Philippines, bring exclusive distribution of Lacoste to the country, and open the first Charriol boutique.
Customer stories will also take the spotlight.
The Rustan’s story continues with its refurbished Makati flagship store and an enduring dedication to serving only the finest to create ever-lasting moments for its customers.
