Asticom Group of Companies has just launched a cadetship program with coding boot camp KodeGo to help aspiring young professionals develop their skills, carve out careers in information technology and engineering, and create job opportunities amid the challenging labor market.
Through the program, AstiELEVATE, Asticom, and KodeGo can assist in the professional development of fresh graduates and career shifters and provide them much-needed exposure in their chosen fields for increased employability.
“We couldn’t be more honored to be part of AstiELEVATE. The mission of KodeGo is to provide accessible education, and we want to upskill Filipinos for better opportunities, which aligns with Asticom’s purpose. At KodeGo, we believe that the Filipino talent is world-class,” said Cristina Gervasio, Entrepreneur-in-Residence at KodeGo.
KodeGo is a startup under Globe’s 917Ventures. It produces highly-skilled individuals through short, intensive, and rigorous online tech training and placement services.
“We’re grateful and thrilled to have KodeGo as one of our partners. Together with their support, we can continue creating opportunities for these aspiring young talents. By helping them grow in their careers, we also help improve their lives,” said Mharicar Castillo-Reyes, President and CEO of Asticom Group of Companies.
AstiELEVATE cadets will undergo a six-month program designed to equip them with knowledge and experience to make them employment-ready.
By the end of the program, they will be posted to Asticom’s subsidiaries, such as business process solutions company Asti Business Services Inc. (ABSI) and Fiber Infrastructure and Network Services, Inc. (FINSI), a technology and engineering firm serving companies from the telecom and tech industries.
