Window 11 gets major update

The first of Windows 11’s many major updates, this one known as Windows 11 22H2, will come out by 20 September, according to reports by Windows Central and The Verge.

Its final form is reaching completion with new security features plus a redesigned task manager, window management features, and touchscreen and gestures tweaks.

Last year, the company stated that updates will be a once-a-year thing for Windows 10 and 11. Despite the pace slowing down, Microsoft made changes to development and release practices considering small and medium-sized changes in shorter intervals.

Windows 11 will get Android app support, user interface tweaks, and updates for numerous first-party apps.

For Windows 10 users unwilling or unable to install Windows 11, its own 22H2 update has been released.
