LIMAY, Bataan — The Bureau of Customs Port of Limay — under the leadership of district collector Atty. William Balayo — was recently recognized for becoming an “Internationally recognized ISO certified.”
The “ISO 9001” is a global benchmark being awarded to achieve a quality management and is “a critical tool for boosting company’s success, profitability and market potential.”
“Bureau of Customs-Port of Limay has established and applies a Quality Management System for Provision of Customer Support Services (Releasing of documents, Handling of Inquiries and payment collection,” according to the certificate the agency received.
Balayo said that the agency also broke the record for collecting above targets of tens of billions of collections for 16 consecutive months.
