After months of waiting, the country finally welcomed the first Philippine edition of Vogue Philippines last 28 August. Its maiden issue features stories that span Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, with Chloe Magno chosen as the first-ever cover girl.
Magno represents Filipinos’ “roots as islanders,” and the maiden issue explores “how we are connected, not separated, by water,” said publisher Rhoda Campos-Aldanese on her Instagram post.
Vogue Philippines will come out monthly starting September via print, digital, and social media.
