A Japanese national was found dead in a condominium pool area in Makati City on Thursday morning.
Authorities identified the victim as a certain Takaoka Shigeo, of legal age, resident of the condominium located along Chino Roces Ave., corner Arnaiz Ave., Barangay Pio del Pilar.
According to a condominium worker, they were conducting a maintenance check of the firehose cabinet lock on the 6th floor’s amenities area, they saw a shattered glass panel and the mangled body of Shigeo.
They immediately reported the incident to security personnel who in turn called the assistance of the San Isidro Police Sub Station.
An initial investigation conducted by the San Isidro Police shows a Japanese national was seen on CCTV footage roaming the roof deck alone. Investigators theorize the victim may have fallen from the rooftop.
Further Investigation is ongoing.
