The work schedule at the Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals, and Sandiganbayan was put to 100 percent starting 1 September until 15 September.
This was announced yesterday by the Supreme Court.
Aside from SC and the trial courts nationwide, the Court of Appeals, the Sandiganbayan and the Court of Tax Appeals are fully operational with 100 percent of the workforce on-site starting yesterday.
Office hours in the appellate courts stationed in the National Capital Region are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In the case of the CA’s stations in Cebu City for the Visayas and in Cagayan de Oro City for Mindanao, the work hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m
Last 31 August, the operations in the appellate courts were consistent with the memorandum issued by Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo.
Presiding Justice Remedios Salazar Fernando issued the work schedule in the CA in an Office Order, while the Sandiganbayan and the CTA, the orders were issued by Presiding Justice Amparo M. Cabotaje-Tang and Presiding Justice Roman G. Del Rosario, respectively.
Likewise, flag raising/lowering ceremonies can be held, Saturday duty should continue, and night courts are permitted to operate in stations where these have been organized or required.
