Sen. Bong Go’s office conducted a relief activity on Friday, 9 September for indigenous residents of Aritao and Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya.
In his video message, Go noted the challenges brought by the pandemic to many Filipino families and vowed to continue assisting the poor and marginalized across the country.
The senator’s team handed out meals, masks and shirts to 509 residents at their respective municipal gymnasiums.
They also provided select residents with shoes and phablets, and gave away bicycles and balls for basketball and volleyball to others as part of Go’s efforts to encourage more Filipinos to engage in sports instead of vices.
Personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development also extended livelihood assistance grants.
