‘Karding’: 2.5K stranded

A total of 2,519 passengers, drivers and cargo helpers were no longer allowed to travel due to Super Typhoon Karding.

In the latest PCG update this Sunday, 39 rolling cargoes, 18 vessels and 15 motorbancas were also stranded.

About 71 other vessels and 35 motorbancas are in a safe place to shelter in the Southern Tagalog and Bicol region.

In Southern Tagalog, 748 individuals, drivers, helpers and 9 motorbancas were also stranded while 1,601 in the Bicol region.

Meanwhile, the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange or PITX has also announced the cancellation of some bus trips as a precaution against the effects of Super Typhoon Karding.

In their social media post released on Sunday afternoon, buses trips are temporarily canceled, especially those going to Infanta, Quezon.

Infanta, Quezon, based on the last PAGASA bulletin is now under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 5 because it is close to the path of the typhoon’s center.

Some of the canceled routes are all bus trips to Visayas, Mindoro and Davao City, also among those suspended yesterday is Tiwi, Albay.
