Cops nab Nigerian high-value individual

Anti-drug operatives arrested a Nigerian national considered as high value individual during a buy-bust operation conducted by elements of the District Drug Enforcement Unit, at Arca South Parking FTI Compound Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City.

The operation was conducted at exactly 12 noon of Thursday, P/Col. Kirby John Brion Kraft said in a statement.

The suspect was identified as Mac-Davis Bede Chuka a.k.a Okoro, Nigerian National, 28 years old, call center agent (HVI-Pusher).

Found in Okor’s possession were three self-sealing transparent plastic sachets containing dried leaves with fruiting tops suspected to be high-grade marijuana/kush weighing more or less 13 grams with an estimated standard drug price of P18,200, two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 10 grams with an estimated value of P68,000, digital weighing scale, grinder, small box of rolling paper, caliber 45 pistol Armscor, two caliber 45 magazine loaded with seven live ammunition, belt bag, P1,000 genuine on top of P24,000 boodle money utilized in the buy-bust.

The suspect was brought to the DDEU Office for documentation and proper disposition.

Kraft said the suspect will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 12 under Art II of RA 9165 and RA 10591 are now being prepared against the arrested suspect.

“We in Southern Metro will continue to conduct police operations to ensure that people who violate any law will be put behind bars regardless of their nationality,” Kraft said.
