Some P4.1 million worth of high-grade marijuana or Kush were busted in an operation conducted by the Fairview Police Station Wednesday night in Quezon City.
P/Lt. Col. Elizabeth Jasmin, Station Commander of PS5 said the two suspects were identified as Regional Level Drug personalities named Mihingold Guina, 23 years old, a resident of San Pedro, Laguna City and Daryl Louie Borgonia, 31, together with their arrested cohorts named as Miriam Doctor, 23, both residents of Barangay San Roque, Marikina City and Fernando Mendoza, 25, a resident of Barangay San Agustin, Novaliches, Quezon City.
Police report shows that PS5 operatives received information from a confidential informant regarding the illegal drug activities of Mendoza in the area of Barangay Greater Fairview, Quezon City.
In response to the report, a buy-bust operation was conducted at about 7:40 p.m., 5 October along Valiant Street, Barangay Greater Fairview, Quezon City where a police operative acted as a poseur buyer and bought P25,000 worth of high-grade marijuana (Kush) from suspect Mendoza which led to his arrest.
Mendoza pointed to Guina, Borgonia and Doctor as the suppliers of marijuana that also led to their arrest.
Seized from them were more or less 3,160 grams of high-grade marijuana valued at P4,108,000 cellular phone, a Honda City and the buy-bust money.
The suspects will be charged with violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
