The Mactan-Cebu International Airport is temporarily closed until further notice after a Korean Airlines plane on flight KE631 overshot the runway after landing late in the evening of 23 October.
Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines spokesperson Eric A polonio said all flights at MCIA were temporarily suspended following the incident at 11:08 p.m. on 23 October.
All 162 passengers (160 adults and 2 infants) and 11 crew members were evacuated.
Officials are investigating the cause of the incident.
