QC buy-busts nab mom, daughter

A mother and her daughter were among 20 suspects arrested in a series of buy -bust operations conducted by different Station Drug Enforcement Units of the Quezon City police which netted P116,960 worth of shabu on Thursday.

The La Loma Police Station identified the mother as Lydia Custodio Resuello, 69, and her daughter as Mary Grace Resuello, 39, listed as No. 5 Station Level Drug Personality. Both are residents of Barangay Manresa, Quezon City.

In a buy-bust operation conducted around 11:30 p.m. of Wednesday, 2 November, at Dagot Street, corner Biak na Bato Street, Barangay Manresa, Quezon City an informant reported the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects.

The authorities confiscated eight sachets of shabu amounting to P11,560, a digital weighing scale, and the buy-bust money.

Also the Talipapa Police Station arrested Jomar Reyes, 30, and Jayson Makinanon, 24, both residents of Barangay Baesa, Quezon City around 10:30 p.m. also Wednesday at their residence.

Cops confiscated five grams of shabu valued at P34,000, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust, money.

The Fairview Police Station arrested Rio Baza, 45, a resident of Barangay Gulod, Novaliches, Quezon City; Danilo Andrade, 59; and Bernard Francisco, 46, both residents of Barangay Sta. Lucia, Quezon City, at about 1 a.m., Thursday, 3 November along Bukaneg Street Barangay Sta. Lucia, Quezon City. Seized were four sachets of shabu amounting to P6,800, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, Cubao Police Station 7 arrested the suspect John Paul Ong, 40, a resident of Barangay E. Rodriguez Sr., Cubao, Quezon City, at about 7:30 p.m., Wednesday 2 November 2022, at New York Street corner Stanford Street, Barangay E. Rodriguez Sr., Cubao, Quezon City.
