Sen. Bong Go’s team mounted a relief activity in Santa Lucia, Ilocos Sur on Friday, 4 November, for 300 struggling residents.
In his video message, Go reassured that he remains committed to assisting disadvantaged Filipinos, especially amid the ongoing pandemic and following the onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Paeng.
Go’s team organized the relief efforts at the Barangay Ayusan covered court where they provided masks and snacks to 300 Ilocanos. Several of the residents likewise received shoes, cellular phones, and balls for volleyball and basketball.
A team from the Department of Social Welfare and Development also extended financial assistance through its Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program.
