Pinoy shooters get PBBM backing

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday expressed his administration’s full support to the Filipino shooters competing in the 2022 International Practical Shooting Confederation Handgun World Shoot XIX in Thailand.

“I wish to express my full and continuing support to the association for such good advocacies you promote in our local and international sports scene,” Marcos said.

The Philippine Practical Shooting Association paid a courtesy call on the President in Malacañang Palace, introducing its 16 members who will be joining the international competition from 16 November to 3 December.

The PPSA took the opportunity to air their concerns to the President, particularly load restriction concerns.

The Chief Executive, in response, assured them to address the issues they have raised during the meeting.

The Philippine team includes Aeron John Lanuza, Alfredo Catalan Jr., Arnel Ariate, Dominic John Santos, Edcel John Gino, Erin Mattea Micor, Evelyn Woods, Francis Paulo Paulino, Genesis Pible, Jerome Morales, Lenard Lopez, Marly Martir, Michael Tuazon, Raphael Castillo, Rolly Nathaniel Tecson and Stefanie Kathrene Lee.
