The Year of the Rabbit is off to a great start! I had an eventful “salubong” to the Chinese New Year and hopped from one party to the next. First stop was a get-together with my Frenzy group at the New World Hotel where we donned fab Chinese-inspired outfits. I also gave them stuffed rabbits for good luck while I received tikoy and other lucky charms.
After some catching up and celebrating the recent birthday gals, I was off to South Forbes Park for David Lim’s party at his stunning home. The gracious host also honored the recent birthday celebrants and even gave us cakes to blow! I had the best time surrounded by amazing people as we dined, drank, and danced to welcome the Lunar New Year.
I’m so lucky to have these experiences and to spend time with these people again. Cheers to more good fortune this 2023! Kung Hei Fat Choi!
A memorable milestone birthday
One of my 2022 highlights was attending the spectacular 70th birthday celebration for the one and only Annabelle Rama. The actress and icon, looking gorgeous in her sparkling outfit, celebrated her milestone birthday party at the Manila House.
It was a star-studded event from the celebrator to the guests and the talents who entertained us. Gideon Hermosa took the lead on styling and decor, creating truly breathtaking floral arrangements that surrounded the space. I had a blast with all the non-stop entertainment by Anabelle;s friends and family, too. It was a party full of love and life — fitting the birthday girl to a perfect T!
The Gutierrez family really knows how to show us all a good time. Thank you for inviting me to your special day, dearest Annabelle. Always wishing you the best! Cheers!
