Department of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla on Thursday met with the families of the 30 missing sabungeros or cockfight enthusiasts and gave updates on new developments of the case.
The DoJ chief also assured anew to the families of missing cockfighting aficionados that the government will remain unrelenting in investigating the disappearances.
The families, on the other hand, expressed their gratitude to Remulla for his unwavering commitment and support to their cause to get justice for their missing relatives.
Remulla was joined by officials from the DoJ, National Bureau of Investigation and the Philippine National Police during the meeting.
