Winford Resort & Casino Manila (WRCM) follows through an action-packed January with more big ticket names all set to take the stage of WMRC’s Hippodrome Bar & Lounge this month, plus major prizes up for grabs in the February raffles.
On February 7, 21, & 28, watch Paolo Santos Trio perform live and discover a new sound to the artist who earned the nickname “Mr. Acoustic” over the past two decades. Swapping his unplugged guitar for an electric one, the award-winning platinum and gold-selling artist behind the hit song Moonlight Over Paris has not only worked with the country’s top OPM acts, but has also opened for international stars like Jason Mraz and Duncan Sheik during their concerts on our shores.
Then, on February 14, Gino Padilla returns to the Hippodrome stage to serenade those looking to celebrate Hearts Day. Padilla is often credited for popularizing the song Closer, You and I composed by Louie Ocampo which was famously used for a toothpaste commercial in the 1980s. His first big break was in a soft drink commercial shot in Hollywood, California, where he had a duet with ‘80s pop icon Tina Turner. Following a hiatus from the limelight, Padilla returned to recording in the new millennium, with Sharon Cuneta producing his comeback album.
Last but not least, crowd favorite and multi-platinum artist Geneva Cruz continues her string of in-demand shows at WRCM with her next performance slated for February 15. Famous for hit songs like Anak ng Pasig and Kailan, Cruz was discovered and mentored by National Artist of the Philippines for Music, Ryan Cayabyab, who formed the now defunct iconic music group Smokey Mountain of which she was lead singer.
For all three shows, doors open at 8PM and admission is free of charge, with VIP seating available for PHP500nett or 80 points a day per person—inclusive of food and drink.
More fabulous prizes await as WRCM offers members a chance to win iPhone 14 smartphones, major appliances, and up to Php20,000 in cash. To join, members must simply earn 30 points a day to get one raffle ticket. Draw dates are on February 11, 18, and 25, 2023 from 8PM to 10PM at the Hippodrome Bar & Lounge.
