Isuzu Makati was named dealer of the year by the Isuzu Philippines Corporation during the 2022 Dealer of the Year Awards at Marriott grand ballroom last 27 January.
The annual DOYA event acknowledges the hard work and commitment of the sales and aftersales force of Isuzu dealers.
Top Isuzu dealers and individuals were given recognition by IPC for the achievements and outstanding performance they have exhibited throughout 2022.
Apart from the most-anticipated Dealer of the Year Award, Excellence in Sales, Parts, and Service Operations Awards were also presented to the dealers who attained the highest scores following the criteria set by IPC.
Individual awards such as Sales Executive of the Year and Truck Elite of the Year were also given to sales executives who displayed exceptional skills and contributions to the Isuzu brand.
Aside from bagging the prestigious Dealer of the Year award, Isuzu Makati under Isuzu Gencars Inc. also took first place in Excellence in Parts Operations and second place in Excellence in Service Operations.
Isuzu Gencars Inc. chairman Edgard Cabangon expressed his heartfelt gratitude to IPC for the awards and support that their dealers continuously receive.
“We would like to say thank you to IPC for your support and belief in the Isuzu Gencars group,” he said.
Isuzu Gencars Inc. President Lerma Nacnac acknowledged the hard work and cooperation of the whole Gencars team, including other dealer branches under Gencars.
“This wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our employees, our officers and sales agents,” Nacnac said.
Isuzu Cagayan de Oro finished second behind Isuzu Makati with Isuzu Bacoor.
Isuzu Alabang topped the Excellence in Sales Operations followed by Isuzu Calapan and Isuzu Bacoor.
For Excellence in Service Operations, Isuzu Cagayan de Oro took first place ahead of Isuzu Makati and Isuzu Bacoor.
Isuzu Makati captured the Excellence in Parts Operations followed by Isuzu Isabela and Isuzu Cagayan de Oro.
Named Sales Executive of the Year was Rica Anne Quico from Isuzu Alabang while Truck Elite of the Year was Diana Rose Araneta from Isuzu Pasig.
IPC President Tetsuya Fujita extended his gratitude and appreciation to all dealers for their hard work and continuous support to IPC in 2022, significantly contributing to the brand’s 23 consecutive years of being the No. 1 truck brand in the country.
He also expressed his enthusiasm to lead the IPC network.
“As the leading truck brand in the industry, we will continue innovating new products that will assist in the progress of the country while displaying more responsibility to the society and the environment through our ‘Road to Progress’ vision,” Fujita said.
IPC has a total of 48 dealer branches nationwide.
IPC executive vice president Shojiro Sakoda congratulated all the winners.
“Our resilience has gotten us this far, so together, let us grab this chance to make 2023 another year of remarkable growth and productivity!” he said.
