Families of the victims of sensational crimes trooped to the National Capital Region Police Office in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City last Monday as they expressed appreciation to efforts of police officers in arresting suspects wanted for various crimes through the service of arrest warrants.
The suspects were arrested for murder, homicide, rape, robbery with homicide and other detesting immoral acts.
NCRPO representative Brig. Gen. Jack L. Wanky reported that 470 persons with standing warrants of arrest were nabbed in the simultaneous conduct of weeklong One-Time-Big-Time operation launched by the five districts and regional operating units of NCRPO from 23 to 29 January 2023.
The said operation aims to ensure the invigorated conduct of anti-criminality and anti-illegal drug campaign in Metro Manila.
Also, P10,762,239.60 worth of illegal drugs were seized during the conduct of 348 police operations which resulted in the arrest of 486 illegal drug personalities.
Meanwhile, 17 persons were arrested in 17 operations which resulted to the confiscation of 19 loose firearms during the same operation.
