A raid conducted by combined elements of the Makati City police and other law enforcement group resulted in the arrest of a Korean and a Filipina in a condominium unit in Makati City Monday.
The successful raid was conducted by joint operatives of the Makati City Police, Ninoy Aquino International Airport Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group, National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group, Customs, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
The suspects were identified as Angeline Claire Nacua, 25 years old; and Choi Sol, a Korean national, 38 years old.
Anti-drug e operatives raided the condominium unit along Nicanor Garcia Street, Bel Air, Makati City at around 5:30 p.m. where the two suspects were nabbed.
Authorities recovered a parcel tagged as an “Antique French Phone” from Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon, France, consigned to Nacua containing P1 million worth of shabu, a blue clipboard, a parcel receipt, a copy of the invoice, two identification cards, three cellular phones, and four master cards.
After the proper booking, Nacua and Sol were placed under the custody of the PDEA.
