PAGASA: Expect heavy rains due to LPA

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the trough of the low-pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility will likely bring moderate to heavy rains over Eastern Visayas, Caraga region, and Northern Mindanao.

While the eastern section of the country will experience moderate to strong wind speeds directed to the northeast and the rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speeds directed to the northeast.
