Sen. Bong Go expressed his confidence, through a video message during a relief activity in Ibaan, Batangas on Wednesday, 22 February, that the Marcos Administration continues to improve its COVID-19 response.
For Go’s part, he remains dedicated to supporting the government to ensure stronger pandemic interventions, especially in vulnerable communities.
“Patuloy lang po ang aking pagseserbisyo sa abot ng aking makakaya. Patuloy din po kami sa gobyerno na palakasin pa lalo ang ating pandemic efforts para sigurado na tayo ay makakaahon muli at walang maiiwan sa ating pagbangon mula sa krisis,” said Go.
“Kaya ipagpatuloy lang din po ninyo ang inyong suporta sa gobyerno. Hindi namin kayo pababayaan. Nais ko rin pong umapela sa inyo na ipagpatuloy niyo lang din po ang malasakit sa kapwa dahil sino pa po ang magtutulungan kundi tayo lang din kapwa Pilipino,” he underscored.
The relief effort was held at the Recto gymnasium where the senator’s team gave snacks, masks, and shirts to 454 struggling Batangueños while some received cellular phones, shoes, and balls for basketball and volleyball.
Moreover, representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development gave financial assistance to each affected family to help mitigate the financial impacts of the pandemic.
