Lights, Camera, Auction!

Collectors and enthusiasts, bring out your wallets and let your fine tastes shine! Salcedo Auctions launched “The Well-Appointed Life” auction this March, opening its glass doors into a world of rare finds.

Collectors and enthusiasts alike came to view the coveted collections of antique hardwood furniture, furnishings, art, timepieces and fine jewelry. We even got the chance to see two works by National Artist H.R. Ocampo. Really amazing work and some of the highlights of the night!

I think the event’s name represents these treasured items so well, too. Every piece epitomizes the well-appointed life and by preserving them, we also preserve and remember the many well-lived lives and their stories. History and culture in every piece!

Curious and amazed are two words to describe the feeling one has when going around and seeing all the pieces. I can say fun, too, thanks to the delicious Arc and Manille cocktails. With a cocktail in hand, it’s always a great time! We also enjoyed some gourmet selections by Happy Ongapauco-Tiu. Yum!

Cheers to Salcedo Auction founders Richie and Karen Lerma, and managing director Victor Silvino for the greatly curated pieces and for such a nice event. Thanks to Luis Espiritu for the invite, too. Can’t wait for the next!
