QualiBet Testing Services Corporation, a local company headed by chemist Pinky Pe Tobiano, recently achieved a major feat when it entered into an acquisition agreement with Bureau Veritas Assurance Quality, a recognized world leader in the field of quality testing and certification.
This achievement is a first not only for the country but also for a Filipina chemist, Tobiano, to be recognized internationally.
Prior to the acquisition, Tobiano headed’s QualiBet’s chemical and microbiology testing of food, water, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, among others. Her exemplary leadership did not go unnoticed by the French-owned company BVAQ, eventually leading to the acquisition.
With the backing of BVAQ, QualiBet’s expertise and proven track record will be further bolstered as it intensifies its manpower, geographical reach and infrastructure.
