From Cebu to Baguio Direct

Baguio has never been closer to the residents of Metro Manila and its neighboring northern provinces. It is simply because of all the efficient and excellently-maintained highways and byways, expressways and freeways, which have significantly reduced travel time.

Recently, Cebuanos woke up to some good news. Gone are the days when one had to have a Manila stopover en route to The Summer Capital of the Philippines. The nation’s flagship carrier now offers direct Cebu-Baguio-Cebu flights! This is all part of Philippine Airlines’ Larga Ta Cebu Campaign, which aims to connect the Queen City of the South with other key cities and locations not only within the country, but the whole world.

There are direct non-stop flights to domestic destinations such as Cotabato City and Borongan, Samar. In addition, international flights to Bangkok in Thailand, Narita in Japan and Incheon in South Korea are conducted on a regular basis.

All these new routes are now accessible through the Mactan Cebu International Airport, which was recently voted best Airport in the Under Five million Passengers class in Asia.
