The National Bureau of Investigation arrested a husband and wife in Mabalacat City in Pampanga for “online sexual abuse” of their five-year-old daughter.
The NBI-Anti-Human Trafficking Division conducted the operation leading to the arrest of the suspects.
Prior to the arrest, the NBI received a report from the Australian Center to Counter Child Exploitation about Australian Warren Dixon who was arrested by the Australian Police on 28 November 2022.
Seized from Dixon were “several child sexual abuse materials showing minor Filipinos he sexually abused and other individuals who appear to have facilitated, participated, and promoted the abuse of the minors,” the NBI said quoting from the Australian Center’s report.
The arrested couple was among the persons identified and principally involved in the criminal acts of Dixon by providing CSAMs.
