A 59 year-old tricycle driver was shot dead by a riding-in-tandem while waiting for a passenger Monday early dawn in Tondo Manila.
Police identified the victim as Noel Moreno, who died due to a bullet wound in the neck and head.
Investigations conducted by PSSg Irene Jay Manalili of the Manila Police District Homicide Section disclosed that the incident occurred 2:30 a.m. Monday at Rodriguez Street corner Nepa Street in Balut, Tondo.
The victim according to report was waiting for a passenger when one of the two suspects — who was described by bystanders as wearing blue-colored baseball cap and yellow T-shirt — approached and shot the victim three times.
Upon making sure that the victim is dead, the gunman run towards the Yamaha Mio motorcycle of his companion and fled towards Gagalangin.
Police investigator are now back tracking CCTV perimeter on the crime scene to help identify the two suspects.
