Alabang paces WGAP circuit

Alabang captured two divisions and placed third in another to top the kickoff leg of the Women’s Golf Association of the Philippines circuit at the Villamor golf course in Pasay City recently.

Alabang totaled 127 to edge Wack Wack and Aguinaldo by one to top Division 2 and dominated Division 4 with 84 points.

Tagaytay took Division 3 with 106 ahead of Sta. Elena 106 and Alabang 96.

Alabang is on top of the standings with 8 points, three points ahead of Wack Wack.

The winner in each division gets 3 points, the runner-up 2 points and the third placer 1 point.

In the event a team wins at least two divisions, it will get an additional point.

Wack Wack earned 5 points after coming out on top of Division 1 with 178 points and placed second in Division 2.

Camp Aguinaldo was running third with 4 points after placing second in Division 3 and third in Divisions 1 and 2.

Sta. Elena and Tagaytay shared fourth with identical 3 points.

Sta. Elena came in second in Division 3 and third in Division 4.

Tagaytay, on the other hand, has two points.

Manila Southwoods placed second in Division 1 to earn 2 points.

The other participating teams were Eagle Ridge, Eastridge, Forest Hills, Manila Golf, Orchard, Riviera, Valley and Villamor.
