11 Pasig trike drivers lauded

The local government of Pasig City has recognized 11 tricycle drivers from the city for showing admirable honesty to their passengers.

In a speech during the flag-raising ceremony at the Pasig City Hall Quadrangle on Monday morning, Mayor Vico Sotto lauded the tricycle drivers who set a ‘good example’ that should be emulated by many — especially the youth.

He also reminded that everyone should live with honesty just like tricycle drivers whether someone was watching or not.

Apart from the certificate of appreciation, the local government has also given food packs and gift certificates worth P2,000 to honest tricycle drivers.
