Dangerous Drugs Board’s turn to get wrongly ‘tagged’ in tourism fiasco

Maybe it is more fun in the Philippines. The twists and turns in the latest saga of the Department of Tourism and DDB Agency’s slogan launch gone awry isn’t something anyone could have anticipated, but the latest one has gotten even the Dangerous Drugs Board involved.

Sharing the same initials as the DDB Group Ad Agency, the Drugs Board has apparently had enough of being mistakenly tagged and roped in by social media commenters who are giving their opinions as to who should take the blame. They released a notice on their social media clarifying what their agency actually is: Please be informed that the Dangerous Drugs Board is not affiliated or does not have any kind of business relationship with DDB Group Philippines, which is a private company providing advertising services.

Watchers wait with bated breath to see if the issues regarding the Department of Tourism’s new campaign will have more twists than their favorite TV Serye.
