Entrepreneur-vlogger Wilbert Tolentino announced on social media his resignation as talent manager of beauty pageant titleholder and actress Herlene Budol effective 31 July 2023.
“Mahirap man gawin, halos matagal ko din pinagisipan. Subalit kailangan ko ng pagtuunan ng pansin ang aking kalusugan, at bigyan oras ang aking anak dahil una sa lahat tumatanda na si KaFreshness, at higit akong kailangan nya lalo’t lumalaki na siya,” he said.
Wilbert added that in his one-and-a-half year of managing the career of Herlene, they have achieved so many things both in her personal life and professional development, particularly in her attempt to become a beauty queen.
“Unang salang ko sa kanya sa Binibining Pilipinas 2022 ay naging 1st Runner-up cya ka agad,” Wilbert said.
“Ngayun naman na Kapapanalo lang nya bilang Miss Philippines Tourism 2023. Masaya ako para sa kanya dahil maka tungtong cya sa International Stage sooner,” he continued.
When it comes to her acting career, Wilbert said he was able to give Herlene a “big break”. With the help of Kapuso Network, Herlene bagged the lead role in “Magandang Dilag”.
Wilbert said that Herlene’s future looks promising still and he is optimistic for his former ward’s career.
