Former President Rodrigo Duterte visited Malacañang on Wednesday to meet with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr, Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go said.
Go, who also served as the former Special Assistant to the President (SAP) during the Duterte administration, said in a Facebook post that he accompanied Duterte during the meeting.
“(We) also met with Secretary Anton Lagdameo, who is currently the SAP of President Marcos,” Go said.
“Former executive secretary Salvador Medialdea and the current ES, Atty. Lucas Bersamin were also there,” he added.
As of writing, no details were released about the discussions. This is the first time that former President Duterte has visited Malacañang since leaving office in June 2022.
