The Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards announced the full list of nominees for the 71st FAMAS Awards on 1 August on its Facebook page.
Family Matters led the entries with 12 nominations, including Best Actor (Noel Trinidad) and Actress (Liza Lorena), Best Director (Nuel Naval) and Best Picture nominations. Next is Leonor Will Never Die with 11 nominations, Blue Room with 10 nominations and Deleter with eight.
Established in 1952, FAMAS is the oldest award-giving body in the Philippines and one of the oldest in Asia. Winners will be declared on 13 August at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel.
