Police on Wednesday arrested a 49-year-old mechanic during an anti-crime operation in Pasay City.
P/Brig.Gen. Roderick Devilles Mariano, director of the Southern Police District, announced the arrest of the so-called most wanted person in Muntinlupa City yesterday.
Personnel of Warrant and Subpoena Section of Muntinlupa City Police Station arrested the suspect identified as Michael Matañosa y Arciaga, a 46-year-old mechanic at about 3:50 p.m. on 2 August 2023 along National Road, Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City.
The operating team carried out the Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Liezel A. Aquiatan of the Regional Trial Court Branch 205, Muntinlupa City.
The warrant was issued in connection with the accused’s violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 — specifically, for possession of dangerous drugs (RA 9165 Article II of Section 11).
Matañosa is currently detained at the Custodial and Detention Facility of the Muntinlupa City Police Station.
