A carnapping case is being readied against a 25-year-old salesboy in Parañaque City after he was arrested by authorities at dawn yesterday in Welcome Village, Brgy. San Antonio.
He was identified as Jomar Codiamat, residing in the same village.
The complainant alias Ramil, 54 years old, said he was awakened by a scream from outside their house. Upon checking he was told that someone is trying to steal his black Nissan Urvan.
He immediately called Barangay San Antonio to report the incident and requested police assistance from BF Homes Police Substation, Parañaque City which resulted in the arrest of the suspect.
The suspect is detained at the Custodial Facility of Parañaque City Police Station for proper disposition.
