Operatives of the MPD-Sta. Ana police arrested a 28-year-old man on the drug watchlist of the station, in a buy-bust operation Friday night in Sta. Ana Manila
Police identified the suspect as James Verdijo y Taduyo @Bibe, a suspected pusher, listed in a drug watchlist, 28 years old, male, single, jobless, resident of 1772 Road 4, Punta Sta. Ana, Manila, Barangay 903 Zone 109.
The suspect was arrested along Dike Side Punta, Sta. Ana, Manila (Barangay 900 Zone 100 District VI Manila) at about 10:15 p.m..
The Police were conducting a buy-bust operation with PDEA RO-NCR Control Number 10001-092023-0217 resulting in the arrest of the above-named suspect. Seized/confiscated from his possession and control were two pieces of small-sized heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets each containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
The confiscated pieces of dangerous drugs evidence have an estimated total weight of more or less 3 grams and has a standard drug price value of P20,400.
Charges for Violation of Section 5 and 11 (Sale and Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Article II of R.A. 9165 otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be slapped on the suspect at the Manila City Prosecutors Office.
