General Santos City — Authorities reported that a bomb threat was logged on Thursday afternoon at Barangay Lagao here.
Police said that the threat came from a social media post, warning the public that a bomb is being planted at Roundball in the barangay which caused panic as the city is prone to bomb attacks which resulted to hundreds of casualties and fatalities.
Upon learning that the said post was a hoax, GenSan City Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao issued a final warning to pranksters and those who will try to spread wrong and false information to the public.
