Elements of the Pasay City Police warrant and subpoena section arrested a man, who was charged for drug possession, and a murder suspect during manhunt operations in Las Piñas City and Parañaque City on Thursday, 12 October.
Southern Police District director P/Brig. Gen. Roderick D. Mariano identified the suspect as a certain Rofil, ranked Top 10 in the list of wanted persons in station level. Hewas arrested at around 2:30 p.m. at Diego Sierra, Pulanglupa, Las Piñas City.
Citing the report of Pasay City police chief Col. Froilan Uy, the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Elenita Carlos Dimaguila of Pasay Regional Trial Court Branch 298 on 28 March 2023 for illegal possession of drugs, with a recommended bail of P200,000.
The SPD said Judge Irma Panahon Abad of Pasay RTC Branch 113 also issued a warrant of arrest against the suspect on 3 April without bail for the same offense.
