QCPD mobilizes over 100 cops for Oplan Ligtas-Eskwela

It started with only 82 personnel of the Quezon City Police District deployed to various schools on 2 October, that number is now doubled for this comprehensive program aimed at ensuring the safety and security of students, parents, and the entire community.

This is how QCPD Director P/Brig.Gen. Redrico Maranan, activated the “Oplan Ligtas-Eskwela,” a proactive project made to deal with a variety of issues that may arise during the school season, such as traffic management, public safety, and emergency response.

” This substantial presence demonstrates our proactive approach to ensure the safety and security of all,” Maranan said.”Through this program, QCPD officers provide police presence to deter criminal activity and provide immediate assistance when needed. They can also educate students about personal safety, emergency procedures, and the importance of adhering to traffic rules. These educational programs aim to instill a culture of responsibility and awareness among students,” he added.

“The QCPD is unwavering in its commitment in ensuring the safety and well-being of students, parents, and the entire community during Oplan Ligtas-Eskwela. Our mission is to create a secure, hassle-free, and positive experience for everyone throughout the school year,” Maranan said.
