RC Makati, Prodigious host Halloween party for Guadalupe Viejo kids

For the second consecutive year, the Rotary Club of Makati and digital creative content group Prodigious Philippines both brought a dose of Halloween excitement to the children of Guadalupe Viejo in Makati. Both groups held a Halloween Ghost Party — 2023 version — bringing smiles, laughter and spooky fun to the young attendees.

The party began with a spirited parade, with children from Guadalupe Viejo donning their most creative, frightful Halloween costumes. The neighborhood came alive with little ghosts, witches, superheroes and more, adding a vibrant touch of Halloween spirit to the community.

A program was held for the children at the Rotary Club of Makati’s clubhouse grounds. The event included heartfelt messages from the organizers and partners, highlighting the significance of coming together to celebrate the special occasion.

Among those who graced the occasion with their presence were DGN Reggie and Sue Ann Nolido, Dir. Neil and Camillie Makasiar, PP JunJun and Cecille Dayrit, Boy Arteche, Philip Soliven, members of the Rotaract Club of Makati led by president Adrian Manuel, and RCC Bukluran members led by president Mike Alba.

The Halloween Party was an opportunity for the  children to participate in various games and activities, keeping everyone entertained throughout the day. An event highlight was the distribution of loot bags filled with assorted candies, a gesture that brought joy to the kids and happy memories for them to cherish.

One of the most eagerly awaited parts of the day was the costume contest, with the children showcasing their creativity by crafting unique costumes from recycled materials, in keeping with the event’s eco-friendly theme.

Sue Ann Nolido, the country head of Prodigious Philippines and spouse of District Governor Nominee Reggie Nolido, played a significant role in making the event memorable.

Sue Ann, whose birthday falls on 31 October, provided McDonald’s meals for the attendees, loot bags filled with treats, and prizes for the costume contest. She also led the 30-man Prodigious team that organized the successful event which gave the Guadalupe Viejo kids a memorable, fun-filled day.
