Manila’s party people are glad to be reunited with the Johann Strauss Society of the Philippines to welcome the new Ambassador of Austria, H.E. Johann Brieger together with his wife, Mme. Roswitha Brieger. The lovely couple joined us for an evening of warm welcome and entertainment at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club.
Filipino hospitality shone! We enjoyed our scrumptious dinner and some performances from our talented members. The night was abuzz with everyone singing, dancing, and having a good time. Classic JSSP energy!
We’re no stranger to events like this because of JSSP’s mission to support the arts, along with fostering and preserving the cultural ties between the Philippines and the Republic of Austria. JSSP chairman and Consul General of Monaco Fortune Ledesma, and JSSP President Olga Severino Martel were also in attendance, cementing these values as they greeted our guests of honor.
There’s more in store for us this year, like the return of our annual ball this 19 April. Looking forward to partying with JSSP again. Cheers! Or as they say in Austria — prost!
