MPL newcomer Super Red stood out with his Brody and Melissa in Blacklist International’s 2-0 win over the struggling TNC Pro Team on Week 5 Day 2 of MPL Season 11 Saturday evening at Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati.
Blacklist International is currently placed at no.3 in the regular season with a 5-4 standing and 15 points coming off a loss against ECHO yesterday.
With Owl making the transfer from MDL to MPL, Blacklist team captain OhMyV33nus revealed that the team is not letting go of Super Red, who was named Game 2 MVP of the match.
“It is not his last match,” OhMyV33nus stressed after the match.
“We picked up Owl so we can explore more play style and strategy. There is a reason why we got Super Red. He really has potential and this is not the last time [he is playing] there is still a lot of time to prove himself.”
Earlier in the day, Omega Esports registered a 2-1 win over ONIC PH. They are currently on the brink of elimination at no.6 with a 3-5 standing and 10 points. ONIC PH, meanwhile, dropped to 2-6 and is currently placed at no. 7.
