If you’ve ever passed by Roxas Boulevard, you’re sure to have seen the iconic Main Building. It sits on lush, green grass, its timeless architecture a monument to the unsurpassable creative talent of its architect, National Artist Leandro Locsin. On a tropical night, one delights at the sight of the fountain that beautifully lights up this majestic structure.
Recently, a fundraising event took place to help save and preserve this beauty, without a doubt a part of the country’s history and, undeniably, one that speaks of the great achievements of Imelda R. Marcos in arts and culture.
But fun wasn’t lost in the middle of contributing to a good cause. We enjoyed some cocktails, live opera, chamber music, and the company of good friends. Thanks to the fabulous Margie Moran Floirendo for having us!
