The Philippines reported a total of 4,456 new Covid-19 cases over the past week, the Department of Health said Monday.
Based on its latest case bulletin, the Health department said the daily average cases in the country now stands at 637, which is 42 percent higher compared to the cases reported on 17 to 23 April.
The data also showed 22 new severe and critical cases, bringing the total caseload to 351.
Meanwhile, no deaths related to Covid-19 were reported over the past week.
Of the 2,021 intensive care unit beds, 303, or 15 percent were occupied while 3,157, or 18.1 percent of non-ICU beds were being used.
So far, a total of 78,443,972 individuals have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 while 23,811,248 have received boosters or additional doses.
