2 arrested Indian militants deported

The two alleged members of the Indian Khalistan Tigers were finally deported at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, 18 May, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.

On board the aircraft, the two deportees were escorted by two Bureau of Immigration (BI) agents, a National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) agent, and the Indian police attaché.

According to the BI, earlier one of the suspects attempted to escape at the airport but was captured after a brief chase inside the departure area.
