BALANGA CITY, Bataan — A lawmaker on Sunday announced that he is providing funds to Bataan’s three district engineering offices of Department of Public Works and Highways.
Pusong Pinoy Partylist Representative Jett Nisay, in an interview with Daily Tribune, said that while the partylist was helping throughout the country, 80 percent actually were being used in various projects, medical assistance among others to our constituents in Bataan and huge amount of its funds goes to DPWH’s three DEOs.
Nisay also expressed his opposition to the proposed abolition of the partylist which was being pushed by Senators Ronald dela Rosa and Robin Padilla.
“I do not think the proposal will prosper,” said Nisay during a press briefing over the weekend.
He cited the various helps and assistance and major roles of the partylist representatives in providing help to the needy, the small and medium enterprises and to almost all sectors of the society.
Despite meager funds, Nisay has been able to allocate funds for infrastructures, some have been implemented in the three districts of Bataan through the DPWH’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd engineering districts.
